SAN DIEGO. U.S. Air Force (USAF) Expeditionary Center officials tasked Cubic Global Defense to lead a team (Team Cubic) ? composed of Language Directions, LLC; Marton Technologies, Inc.; and Fae Vectus, LLC ? to provide Air Advisor training and support to its Advisor Academic Services located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey under a follow-on contract valued an estimated $6.2 million. The follow-on contract will begin in October 2016.

The team will continue to provide classroom and scenario-based training on core skills applicable to all Air Advisors. Under the contract, they will provide various types of education and training requirements organized into two pillars centered in core knowledge and language, region, and culture (LRC).

Dave Buss, president of Cubic Global Defense, says "recent turmoil in different regions of the world highlights the need for qualified, competent, and well-trained warfighters with various competencies during expeditionary combat."

The USAF Expeditionary Center is the Air Force's Center of Excellence for advanced mobility and expeditionary combat support training and prepares Air Advisors and other airmen to work with partner nations facing multi-faceted peacetime and wartime operations.
