MIL1590 wide band amplifiers will continue in new partnership between Lansdale and Freescale

Phoenix, Ariz. Freescale and Lansdale Semiconductor Inc. have partnered to manufacture a wide band amplifier with AGC. The ML1590/BGA - originally designed and built by Motorola/Fresscale Semiconductor Inc. - will continue to be available at Lansdale and is supplied in (8) lead metal cans to Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD) 5962-876570 integrated circuits (ICs).

The ML1590 operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. Applications support mature circuit designs and new designs for video amplifiers, mixers and staged IF amplifiers, and can be used in Navigation Test Instrumentation and Global Positioning Systems (GPS).

Lansdale has the single-source rights to both globally market and continue to manufacture to the Department of Defense (DoD) specification MIL-PRF-38535 – Integrated Circuits Manufacturing, General Specification MIL-STD-883-test Method Standard Microcircuits and MIL-STD-1835 – Interface Standard Electronic Component Case Outlines.
