U.S. Navy orders Mercury's Digital RF Memory modulator jammers

CHELMSFORD, Mass. U.S. Navy officials tasked Mercury Defense Systems to deliver 200 advanced miniaturized Digital RF Memory modulators (Mini DRFM). The firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) is estimated to worth be up to $42 million.

“Our DRFM solutions have been used for over two decades for training and radar environment simulation, vulnerability assessment, and self-protection,” says Brian Perry, President, Mercury Defense Systems.

Company officials say they expect to complete work on the time and material contract by November 2020 at its facility in Cypress, California. Mercury Defense Systems is a subsidiary of Mercury Systems.
