Ultra Electronics, Northrop Grumman to collaborate in ASW capabilities

LOS ANGELES. Ultra Electronics and Northrop Grumman will deliver anti-submarine warfare (ASW) capabilities and maritime domain awareness (MDA) for Northrop Grumman?s autonomous systems under a memorandum of agreement between the companies.

The agreement will focus on engineers developing and enhancing sensors, persistent acoustic surveillance, and open mission systems integrated architectures that operate from the undersea to space.

This year both companies are scheduled to participate in demonstrations showcasing autonomous systems that can monitor large oceans and littoral areas.
