U.S. Navy receives Beechcraft’s T-6B military training aircraft

WICHITA, Kan. The U.S. Navy’s Training Squadron Two based at NAS Whiting Field in Milton, Fla. received Beechcraft Defense Co.’s T-6B military training aircraft. The aircraft marks its 900th delivery for the company on its T-6 series and represents the 224th T-6B military trainer delivered to the U.S. Navy as part of the Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) program.

Beechcraft’s T-6B aircraft features Esterline CMC Cockpit 4000 suite that expands opportunities with an design that allows flexibility to meet current and future training needs.

The systems are integrated with Hands-On Throttle and Stick (HOTAS) technology and the avionics suite incorporates a FAA-certified dual FMS/GPS navigation suite that meets the required navigation performance standards for current worldwide airspace equipment.
