U.S. Marine Corps aviation training contract won by Cubic

SAN DIEGO. Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division officials in Orlando, Florida selected Cubic Global Defense for a five-year, firm-fixed price task order to support U.S. Marine Corps aviation training under the U.S. Navy?s Fielded Training Systems Support (FTSS) III contract.

Cubic engineers will provide operations and maintenance support of military aviation training devices and simulators at selected Marine Corps Air Stations in Cherry Point, New River, Miramar, Yuma, among others. In addition, they will also provide simulator and academic classroom training for pilots and aircrew.

At Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Cubic will deliver instructional system design and development support; revision and maintenance of courseware and curriculum; network management and maintenance; and training system management.

The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is worth an estimated $73 million.
