Tomahawks missile demonstrates capabilities with upgraded software

GULF OF MEXICO, Fla. Raytheon and the U.S. Navy demonstrated the Tomahawk Block IV cruise missile’s capabilities with upgraded software in a flight test conducted off of the USS Anzio (CG-68).
According to company officials, the demonstration validated updates to the mission planning system software on the Block IV missile. The missile hit its intended target during the exercise.
