MINNEAPOLIS, MN. Polaris Defense began deliveries of the MRZR off-road vehicle platform to the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) earlier this month.

Under the five-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract Polaris will continue with delivery options on the MRZR 2 and the MRZR 4 vehicles including contractor logistics support (CLS) for spares, training, and support as part of the light tactical all-terrain vehicle (LTATV) program.

The MRZR vehicle platform can be configured a number of ways and includes electronic power steering, fold down roll-ever protective structures, and IR light capability. Polaris Defense has been delivering MRZR vehicles to USSOCOM for the past three years against a GSA contract under a blanket purchase agreement. The contract's estimated value is $83 million.
