LAS VEGAS ? AAI Unmanned Systems and Insitu Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, the Shadow and ScanEagle, respectively, have logged more than 1.3 million combat hours using wireless data radios from FreeWave Technologies. The radios, used in Command and Control (C2) applications, have assisted in Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions for the duration of the flight hours logged by both platforms.

Collaboration between the FreeWave Technologies and its government/defense partners has resulted in Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) and performance improvements for the radios, as well as a highly reliable, robust, and secure product.

The wireless data radios, tailored to fit UAV requirements, are available in multiple frequencies and footprints.
