ARLINGTON, Va. The U.S. Army has completed qualification testing of DRS Technologies? Improved Bradley Acquisition Subsystem (IBAS), a target acquisition system. Testing including the firing of TOW missiles at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

The system is equipped with high-definition day color camera, FLIR sensor, and a diode-pumped Bradley Eyesafe laser rangefinder (LRF).

IBAS Block 2 brings color to the battlefield, allowing the user to identify targets and achieve the goal of the mission, says Shawn Black, vice president and general manager of DRS Infrared Sensors & Systems.
