The U.S. Air Force recently awarded a contract for nearly $7 billion for Network Centric Solutions (NETCENTS-2) net-centric products, to be allocated among the eight entities named on the contract: General Dynamics IT, Needham, MA; Iron Bow Technologies LLC, Chantilly, VA; Intelligent Decisions Inc., Ashburn, VA; Ace Technology Partners LLC, Arlington Heights, IL; FedStore Corp., Rockville, MD; World Wide Technology Inc., Maryland Heights, MO; CounterTrade Products Inc., Arvada, CO; and CDW Government LLC, Vernon Hills, IL.

The contract stipulates that the aforementioned vendors supply COTS solutions in support of the Internet Protocol Network. Products and related support to be rendered globally include servers/storage, networking equipment, multimedia, peripherals, software, and hardware for identity management and biometrics.

The locales of work performance are unknown because the contract is ID/IQ, but the contract provides three years as its base timeframe, with a triad of one-year-each options that could be exercised.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/HICK, Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL is the contracting activity.
