Nuclear R and D detonation, detection systems contract won by Perspecta

CHANTILLY, Va. Mission-services and operations contractor Perspecta Inc. has won a prime contract from the U.S. Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) to continue work on the Expert Scientific and Analytical Support (ESAS) II program. The award -- with a ceiling value of $49.8 million -- has a two-year base period and two additional two-year option periods.

Under the terms of the contract, Perspecta will continue to support the research and development of future nuclear detonation systems and other advanced-detection technologies to meet AFTAC’s evolving operational mission requirements for monitoring treaties and other customer-directed technology applications.
