Long-Range Radar development contract signed for U.S. Army's DHC-8 aircraft

BALTIMORE, Md. In an indefinite deliver, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with the U.S. Army, Northrop Grumman will develop the Airborne Reconnaissance Low-Enhanced (ARL-E) Long-Range Radar for the DHC-8 aircraft.

Under contract, Northrop Grumman will develop a synthetic aperture radar (SAR)/Ground moving target indicator (GMTI) system for the ARL-E DHC-8.
