Lockheed Martin places waveguide components order for AN/SPY-1D radar

EXETER, N.H. Lockheed Martin officials placed an order with Cobham for multiple waveguide components and assemblies to support production of the company's AN/SPY-1D 3-D fixed-phased array radar. The contract is worth an estimated $10 million.

The is a -built S-band multi-function phased array radar system that is a key component of the . The system can automatically track multiple targets simultaneously while maintaining continuous surveillance.

Work for this will be performed at Integrated Electronic Solutions' - a business unit at Cobham - facility in Exeter, New Hampshire.
