L3 Technologies completes acquisition of Azimuth Security, Linchpin Labs

NEW YORK. L3 Technologies has completed its acquisition of information-security companies Azimuth Security (Sydney, Australia) and Linchpin Labs (Ottawa, Canada).
The acquired companies will operate under the banner of L3’s ISR Systems business segment as L3 Trenchant.
The acquisition of the two companies, say L3 officials, significantly strengthens L3’s existing C6ISR [Command, Control, Communications, Computers, CyberDefense and Combat Systems, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance] capabilities.
Christopher Kubasik, L3 chairman, president, and CEO, said that the acquisitions seek to advance the company’s responsiveness, capabilities, and market position.
