IEM wins spot on $37 billion DoD national-security services contract

RESEARCH TRIANGLE, North Carolina. Homeland-security and disaster-management consulting firm IEM has won a spot on a $37 billion U.S. Army contract to support a wide array of Department of Defense (DoD) national security services through the Army's Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract.
Under the terms of the contract, IEM will compete for individual task orders -- in competition with other awardees -- covering a range of national-security services including engineering, research, development, testing and evaluation, logistics, acquisition, strategic planning, education, and training.
IEM officials stated that ID/IQ contract will enable IEM to provide knowledge-based professional engineering support services to command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) missions along with taking part in programs being executed by the Program Executive Offices (PEOs), DoD agencies, and other federal agencies.
