AUSA 2018--WASHINGTON. Defense and aerospace company Esterline will debut its new HaWC systems controllers for use with unmanned systems to the North American defense industry for the first time at AUSA 2018.

The HaWC suite of rugged game-style controllers enable precise performance for mission-critical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and other unmanned applications in the civilian, law-enforcement, military, industrial, and commercial markets. With the InSight HaWC and Mighty HaWC, the operator stands at a determined safe distance while continuing to maintain maximum situational awareness, full autonomy, and control, thereby ensuring survivability and mission effectiveness.

Also showcased at AUSA will be the company's Esterline Mason selection of aircraft-control products; Esterline Control and Communication Systems'  Palomar Secure Communication Systems (SCS) console of integrated command, control, and communications (C3) technology for secure, multi-level communications and information management; and Esterline’s Korry advanced overhead cockpit panel, an integrated solution with three Korry touchscreen displays and associated switching components; and the Racal Acoustics RA4000 Magna headset, RA7000 ELITE in-ear hearing protection system, and RA5001 Raptor Headband.
