General Dynamics wins $244 million Navy training services contract

FAIRFAX, Va. General Dynamics Information Technology -- a business unit of General Dynamics -- has obtained the training services contract for the Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) by the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in Virginia. The single-award contract is valued at approximately $244 million for a one-year base period, with four optional additional years.
Under the terms of the contract, General Dynamics is set to provide training plus training-related program support services -- from curriculum development to advanced warfare training -- across the CSCS domain, which includes 15 learning sites and detachments along with international programs.
