DAYTON, Ohio. Officials at MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) announced the acquisition of Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC), the third major addition in four years, with Secure Computing and Communications in 2013, and Commonwealth Technology, Inc. in 2014. EITC will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary, reporting directly to MacB President and Chief Executive Officer, Sid Fuchs.

In 2007, EITC was founded to provide secure cloud engineering, analytics, and big data solutions to the defense and intelligence communities. The company also developed its proprietary Rapid Analytic Deployment and Management Framework (RADMF) for the analytic components of the Big Data Platform (BDP), which deploys within minutes and eliminates hardware, power, space and sustainability requirements and utilizes Amazon Web Services (AWS).

“My vision has always been to take MacB into a direction that is more reflective of transformational capabilities that meet customers’ future mission needs in an evolving business environment,” says Mr. Fuchs. “Adding EITC to the MacB portfolio, along with our previous acquisitions, showcases a strategy that is on target and enables us to expand into highly valued markets with leading-edge capabilities. The collective skills of our employees will drive future innovation, mission success, and increased value for customers. On behalf of the entire MacB family, we welcome our new EITC colleagues to the MacB team.”

Bluestone Capital Partners served as the exclusive advisor to EITC on this transaction.
