USAF receives 1,400 of Rockwell Collins' Remote Secure Receivers

DAYTON, Ohio. U.S Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and Air Combat Command (ACC) officials received 1,400 of Rockwell Collins' Remote Secure Receivers (RSC) making the total 1,800 to date that have been delivered.
RSR features the Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) GPS solution, for "soldiers that need high assurance PNT (positioning, navigation, and timing) for their commercial devices,” says Mike Jones, vice president and general manager, Communication, and Navigation Products for Rockwell Collins.
Since its launch in 2015, an estimated 8,000 have been ordered and fielded by JTACs, TACPs, and dismounted soldiers. RSR, which secure commercial and military devices, provide soldiers with confidence to conduct all their operations without being spoofed or jammed, says Jones. It also provides uninterrupted use of secure military GPS to multiple systems on the soldier platform.
