Cybersecurity task order to support USAF Central command won by Applied Insight

WASHINGTON. U.S. Air Force (USAF) officials selected Applied Insight for a cybersecurity task order to support the Air Force Central Command. The task order is valued at $5,257,472 and includes a base year, two one-year options, and an option to extend services.

Under the task order, Applied Insight will provide cybersecurity assessment and authorization services for information systems through the NETCENTS AFNET-OPS IDIQ contract. This work will support the AFCENT Authorizing Official in developing a mature cybersecurity assessment and authorization program.

Applied Insight will be responsible for securing the integration, advancement and sustainment of AFCENT’s communications capabilities within cyberspace. This will be accomplished through cybersecurity control, assessment, verification, validation auditing, cybersecurity management and cyber threat intelligence analysis.

The team will also support AFCENT’s transition of the Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) to the risk management framework (RMF).
