Comtech receives additional funding to deliver communications infrastructure

MELVILLE, N.Y. Comtech Telecommunications Corp. received a contract modification from the U.S. Army Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (C3T) to deliver enhanced communications infrastructure for U.S. forces in the Central Command (CENTCOM) Area of Responsibility (AOR).

The contract modification is valued at $8.6 million, which brings up the total from the original $82.1 million to $90.7 million and also extends the period of performance through July 2018. Comtech's Maryland-based Command & Control Technologies group, which is part of Comtech's Government Solutions segment, is heading the contract award.
