Collins Aerospace enters Enterprise Partnering Agreement with USAF
CHARLOTTE, N.C. Collins Aerospace Systems announced it has signed an Enterprise Partnering Agreement with the United States Air Force (USAF), which will serve as an umbrella agreement for all sustainment services with the company’s six Strategic Business Units (SBU).
The SBU’s are Avionics, Aerostructures, Interiors, Mechanical Systems, Mission Systems, and Power & Controls.
According to the company, this new approach enables the Collins Aerospace SBU’s to create implementation agreements with all USAF entities for maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations. Through this collaboration, Collins Aerospace will be able to gain a better understanding of the operational requirements for managing the lifecycle value stream across multiple product portfolios.
This collaboration likewise enables the Air Force to access Collins Aerospace’s commercial capabilities and technical data to support enhanced turnaround times and improve mission readiness.
