Elma Electronic Inc.'s 3U OpenVPX System Development Platform
Elma’s 3U OpenVPX Development Platform is a complete test and development environment aligned with requirements of emerging hardware open standards found under the Hardware Open Standards Technology (HOST) and Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) initiatives. At the heart of the system is a 12-slot backplane which features current slot profiles supported by SOSA and HOST aligned single board computers, switches, network timing and other payload modules, including VITA 67 high speed RF and optical I/O connectivity. The platform can be ordered with a recommended set of OpenVPX modules for rapid advancement of application development activities or end customers may choose from their own set of board choices. As an all-inclusive platform, it enables streamlined development cycles and rapid technology insertion for newly emerging C4ISR programs and applications.
ESI Motion’s NOVA
The Nova incorporates wide bandgap semiconductors, and a DO-178 compliant controller. It is equipped with inrush protection and a brake driver and is packaged in a rugged case which does not require additional cooling. This versatile servo drive is ideal for high performance Low Earth Orbit space applications operating in a vacuum and in a high vibration environment, where efficiency and weight are critical. This innovative, extremely lightweight controller is available in a dual-axis configuration and is one of the smallest servo drives for specialized applications on the market today.
One Stop Systems’ Ion Accelerator Data Storage Unit
The 4U, rugged, lightweight Ion Accelerator Data Storage Unit brings PCI Express 3.0 NVMe flash technology to the warfighter. It replaces 400-pound-plus traditional SSD/HDD shared storage systems required for airborne surveillance, ground station, and mobile data centers with a 65-pound, 19-inch rackmount MIL-STD-810F tested platform that reaches data storage speeds of over 24 GB/sec with millions of IOPS. The OSS Ion Accelerator flash software, (formerly Fusion-io) used by flash memory applications in many DoD programs, runs in kernel space to provide maximum bandwidth with the lowest latency.
Walk the show – congratulate the winners – take advantage of Sea-Air-Space 2019, which brings you the latest advances that enable the success of America’s Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine.
