ARLINGTON, Va. Textron AirLand officials selected BAE Systems to deliver its LiteHUD head-up display for the Scorpion jet. The initial order will support the Scorpion?s robust flight test program.

Engineers designed the head-up display utilizing optical waveguide technology. Officials say, it is engineered to enhance situational awareness, in both day and night conditions, which improves flight safety and reduces pilot fatigue. Its modular design, which includes a built-in color camera, enables integration with both existing and future cockpits.
