WASHINGTON. The General Services Administration (GSA) has made multiple awards on its Complex Commercial SATCOM Solutions (CS3) contract. The 10-year indefinite date/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract (five-year base plus a three-year option and a two-year option) enables U.S. federal agencies to purchase end-to-end, turnkey solutions incorporating commercial satellite communication services through the GSA.

Winners on the CS3 contract will support different types of requirements, such as interactive services; continuity of operations; broadcast satellite services; direct-customer, steady-state, and emergency-responder operations; and fleet and asset tracking and reporting services.

Contract awardees include Comsat, Hughes Network Systems, Comtech/TeleCommunication Systems, and UltiSat.
