Sunnyvale, CA -- PCI-SYSTEMS Inc. a leading supplier of conduction cooled systems, today announced a new add on mezzanine for their OpenVPX 3U and 6U extender test products.
This 300.504 mezzanine can be used with PCI Systems 3U and 6U extender products.
The transmit and receive signals (32 lanes each) are driven and conditioned by TI redriver chips. Adjustment can be made to equalization and de-emphasis.
The chips used automatically detect and adapt to Gen1, Gen2 and Gen3 data rates.
Provision to attach an analyzer is made on the board.
The PCIe 100MHz reference clock source can be from the host system or from the on-board clock.
All settings can be made via DIP switches.
Each lane can be switched off, amplified by a redriver or switched straight through.
This allows the usage of ANY OpenVPX profiles where all kinds of different signals are routed on P1 and P2.
An electronic software configuration tool is included.
