PrismTech Records Strong 3Qtr Performance
BOSTON, Mass., March 5, 2007--PrismTech™, an acknowledged leader in the provision of state-of-the-art software platforms and tools, announced that it secured more than 70 contract ‘wins' during 3Qtr (Oct.-Dec.) of its Fiscal Year 2006. This marks a 20 percent increase from the previous quarter and continues the company's record-setting pace to exceed its annual performance goals.
Of significant note, more than 80 percent of the contracts in 3Qtr represented new wins. All PrismTech's key product lines showed good growth: Spectra™ SDR (software defined radio) Tools, OpenFusion® CORBA® (common object request broker architecture) products and OpenSplice™ DDS (data distribution service) software. As usual, significant agreements were secured for Defense C3I, Telco OSS and SDR application domains.
“We are extremely proud of our results for the third quarter, which again validate the increasing research and development investments we've made over the past few years,” said Steve Jennis, SVP Corporate Development, PrismTech. “This R&D has resulted in innovative products with clear competitive differentiation in performance, QoS and developer productivity. The resulting value proposition for our customers has produced these record results. We see no reason to doubt that our growth will continue at a fast pace as we continue to bring further new products to market.”
PrismTech's large customer base includes numerous Fortune ‘Global 500' companies including: Alcatel, Ericsson, Siemens, CISCO, Samsung, LG, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, EADS, and Thales.
