QP Semiconductor Names Eric McLeod Group Vice President of Engineering
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - January 9, 2007 - QP Semiconductor today confirmed that Eric McLeod has joined the company as group vice president of engineering, reporting to John Stannard, president. In bringing considerable design and executive management experience to this newly created position, McLeod will be responsible for the management of microcircuit design. He will also oversee all engineering functions related to test program development and package engineering.

"The addition of McLeod to our core team of technologists and executive management will further boost our leadership position in providing quality devices to our niche market of mil/aero and hi-rel ICs."
McLeod's technology and business experience ranges from executive level positions at Philips Microcontroller Division as VP & GM of the Microcontroller Line and president at ASMC, a semiconductor foundry company based in Shanghai. McLeod also served as GM for Philips, Taiwan. Earlier in his career, McLeod held strategic marketing and business positions at Intel and National Semiconductor. He holds an MS Degree from City University London together with Business Courses from Arizona State University..
