Connector manufacturer Fischer Connectors SA has appointed Mark Barber as President of Fischers U.S. subsidiary. Barber served as President and CEO of the U.S. subsidiary for EAO Switch Corporation for 12 years and was a member of the Global Strategic Marketing Group for the company. Prior positions held included Vice President of Sales and Marketing then General Manager for the French-based company S.E.C.M.E. for nine years. Prior to this, he served as Division Manager for EMS Industries.

Barber holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He also competed in the 1980 U.S. Olympic Trials and at the collegiate level for four years.
