The Parvus© DuraMAR® 5915 is a rugged Commercial-Off the Shelf (COTS) Cisco IOS-managed secure mobile network router integrating Cisco's 5915 Embedded Services Router (ESR) in an ultra-rugged chassis optimized for harsh military and civil vehicle / aircraft installations. New "2X" and "3X" models are available with integrated DuraNET Ethernet Switches based on Cisco IOS and Vitesse Carrier Ethernet networking technologies to scale port density up to 23 total Ethernet ports. An ideal solution for IP networking technology refresh and situational awareness applications deployed at the tactical network edge, the DuraMAR 5915 enables prime defense contractors and civil agencies to deploy data, video, and voice services virtually anywhere.
Curtiss-Wright's rugged Ethernet switch subsystems provide MIL-STD qualified LAN connectivity at Fast Ethernet or Gigabit bandwidth. Featuring advanced security, management, QoS, VLAN, and switching protocol support, the Parvus DuraNET switch product line are IPv6 compatible and hardened for thermal, shock and vibration extremes.
The new Parvus DuraNET 20-10 switch subsystem delivers 20x 10/100/1000BaseT Gigabit Ethernet Ports of premium switching technology, while the DuraNET 30-2020 offers 19 ports in a Cisco IOS-managed network switch. Built with harsh military environments in mind, both switches stand up to extreme shock, vibration, temperature, altitude, and humidity and are designed to meet MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-1275, MIL-STD-704, and DO-160. These low power switches provide outstanding performance in compact, lightweight packages weighing less than 5 pounds.
