PC/104-Plus for Avionics

Eletter Product

Excalibur Systems offers two PC/104-Plus cards to help complete any PC/104-Plus system requiring avionic protocols with a reliable power supply for highly demanding embedded applications.

The EXC-4000P104plus carrier board was developed to meet the needs of avionic testers for multi-protocol integrated, digital bus testing and embedded applications. Modules may be selected from our growing list of modules, including MIL-STD-1553/1760, MMSI, H009, ARINC 429, ARINC 708/453, ARINC 825/CANbus, ARINC 717, Serial (232/422/485) and Discrete. Additionally, an IRIG B decoder implements a global time stamp based on an IRIG B clock. The ability to have multiple protocols and multiple channels on a high density card has made the EXC-4000P104plus card very successful.

The EXC-PSM104P85 is an isolated DC power supply specifically designed for providing reliable power for highly demanding PC/104-Plus embedded applications. The EXC- PSM104P85 has an 11VDC to 36VDC input voltage range; 5V, 3.3V and +/ 12V ATX compliant output voltages and provides up to 85 watts of power. It has totally independent safety features including input under voltage lock-out, output overvoltage protection, output current limit protection, and temperature protection. Additionally, the Soft Start feature limits inrush current during startup. The EXC-PSM104P85 is tested and fully complies with MIL-STD-704A and E, MIL-STD-1275B and MIL-STD-461E.

These boards can be purchased separately or in a complete rugged system. For more information, see our Dragon rugged PC/104 system.
