The Abaco Systems DSP282 is a 6U OpenVPX rugged 5th generation COTS multiprocessor that delivers up to 665.6 GigaFLOPS of throughput per card slot as well as supporting advanced 3D graphics – making it ideally suited for a range of manned– and unmanned airborne, ground and naval applications that need maximum performance yet are highly constrained in terms of size, weight and power (SWaP). The HPEC architecture can scale from one to many processor nodes per enclosure via RDMA-enabled InfiniBand and Ethernet dual port NICs, providing very high inter-processor bandwidth at extremely low memory-to-memory latencies.
Further, time to solution can be shortened, risk minimized and cost of ownership reduced with Abaco System's Open System Architecture HPC architecture, harnessing mainstream HPC and Big Data software and leveraging off-the-shelf HPC applications, middleware and drivers.
AXISPro includes AXIS MPI, a high performance IPC middleware with the industry standard MPI application programming interface (API). AXIS also includes the AXISView GUI for task level programming and fast prototyping to reduce development cost and speed development of applications targeted at multi-threaded, multi-core and multi-node distributed system architectures across multiple operating systems including Linux®, Windows® and VxWorks®.
