The VMS Series is a line of preconfigured rugged Vehicle Management systems from North Atlantic Industries. These systems support mil-aero vehicle management applications requiring high-density multichannel programmable I/O and processing optimized for harsh SWaP-constrained environments. Off-the-shelf I/O and communication functions include LVDT/RVDT Measurement, High Current Output, Discrete I/O, AC Excitation Reference, ARINC 429/575, CANBus A/B and J1939 and Ethernet. Available in multiple configurations to meet your application demands, these vehicle management systems (VMS) function as the core control element within a redundant control system. The VMS Series is used to perform a multitude of sensor-driven functions on critical military platforms including manned and unmanned military aircraft, helicopters, shipboard vessels, autonomous missile systems and military ground vehicles.

A single application-ready VMS solution from NAI can perform functions such as vehicle stability and control, guidance and navigation and more by collecting, packaging and transmitting local discrete, and digital data inputs, and can control local functions based on received data. Designed for air, land and sea operations, the 3U rugged systems are offered in three different physical size models to deliver real-time information on vehicle condition, environment and even crew intent.
