Interceptor bridles the email monster

Hackers beware. There’s a new email security compliance enforcer in town and it’s coming to a U.S. government agency or enterprise near you: Espion International, Inc.’s Interceptor security-hardened email compliance enforcer. The Interceptor can be enabled with MX LOCK or the optional MX MERCURY. MX LOCK is designed to ensure security for email containing the government agency’s or company’s confidential information and can proffer either automatic or selective security enforcement. Meanwhile, MX MERCURY manages incoming email with customizable content blocking and filtering in addition to an antivirus program. Importantly, MX MERCURY includes the company’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) probabilistic reasoning engine (EPRE), touted to provide 99.95% or higher accuracy in email filtering.

FIPS 140-1, 140-2, and 197 compliant, the Interceptor guarantees the U.S. government’s highest security standards, with the MX LOCK-enabled version transforming the sender’s email data into unintelligible ciphertext, which is then converted into its original form once it reaches the receiver’s side – once the receiver’s unique credentials are presented. Another plus of Interceptor is validated records of email receipt including which IP address a given email was accessed from, as well as server locale and attachments’ file names. Clearly, this function can assist in GLBA or other policy compliance. MX LOCK versions also allow IT to assign blanket security or to craft security profiles for each user. Five models of Interceptor are available, including the 250 Series (pictured), 250R Series, 500 Series, 1000 Series, and 5000 Series – a lot of choices for some serious email security.
