The U.S. Navy recently awarded a nearly $180 million (ceiling) base year IDIQ contract to 15 recipients: BAE Systems, Rockville, MD; General Dynamics One Source, Fairfax, VA; Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions, Herndon, VA; Deloitte Consulting, LLP, Alexandria, VA; SAIC, Inc., McLean, VA; Scientific Research Corp., Atlanta, GA; Engility Corp., Mount Laurel, NJ; HP Enterprise Services, LLC, Herndon, VA; Secure Mission Solutions, LLC, Washington, D.C.; MC Dean, Inc., Dulles, VA; URS Federal Services, Inc., Germantown, MD; CACI Inc., Federal, Chantilly, VA; Booz Allen Hamilton, McLean, VA; Computer Sciences Corp., Falls Church, VA; and CGI Federal, Inc., Fairfax, VA.

Contract recipients will provide force support and business services comprising non-inherently governmental equipment and services under the full system life-cycle support umbrella. This includes RDT&E and manufacture and fielding for survivable, secure, interoperable, and sustainable combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, space, enterprise information services, and command, control, communication, and computers capabilities.

If all contract options were exercised, the cumulative total would rise to a ceiling of nearly $900 million.

Work is slated for performance globally, by May 2014; however, the options, if exercised, could delay completion until May 2018. The contracting activity is the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic in Charleston, SC.
