About John McHale

John McHale is the editorial director for Military Embedded Systems magazine.

Prior to joining OpenSystems, McHale was executive editor of Military & Aerospace Electronics magazine, where he covered the defense industry for 15 years.

McHale has served as conference director and chair of the Military & Aerospace Electronics Forum and its Advisory Council since 2004 and Avionics Europe since 2008.

John McHale has a Master of Print Journalism degree from Boston University and an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Albright College.
